Registration is open for the Waterman’s Paddle Jam, the second of a four-event Tahoe Cup Paddle Racing Series July 21tst, 2018.

The Watermans Paddle Jam will be held on Patton Beach, directly in front of Watermans Landing Paddle Cafe. The Lake Tahoe Waterman Association is presenting  the The Watermans Paddle Jam and all of the Tahoe Cup Race Series.

The race is open to all paddling craft and  participants of all ability levels. There are 3 races that happen over the course of the day. Race #1 is the short course 3 mile race starting at 9am followed by the long course 6 mile race starting at 10:30am and finally the 1 mile kids race starting around 12:30. Awards for each race will follow the kids race.

Spectators are welcome. The finish area, always a festive atmosphere, will include free demos following the race.

All team participants (OC2, OC6, Tandem and Trandem) must register with a team name and sign the Release of Liability form.

On-line Registration is $35 per participant. Race Day Registration is $45 per participant. Race day registration starts at 7:30 am and is *cash / check only.

About the Lake Tahoe Waterman Association

As a local 501c3 non-profit organization, LTWA’s mission is to preserve the California Tahoe Conservancy land that provides public access to Lake Tahoe in Carnelian Bay and educate the public on the value of non-motorized paddle sports that offer a unique way to live a fit and healthy Tahoe Waterman lifestyle.

The LTWA has created competitive paddle teams, provide instruction and scholarships to youth pursuing paddle sports, and host charitable and educational activities that align with this goal.

The LTWA is passionate about kids staying active and healthy and want to provide an outlet for kids to get strong, fit, and have fun in the pristine waters of Lake Tahoe.
