Tahoe Fall ClassicTahoe Fall Classic Paddle Race Crosses Lake Tahoe September 10th
LAKE TAHOE, California – The Tahoe Cup Paddle Racing Series finale the ‘Tahoe Fall Classic’, a 22-mile paddling race and the longest inland distance paddleboard race in the world, will take place at Lake Tahoe on Sunday, September 10th, 2017.
The third and final race of the Tahoe Cup series, The Fall Classic will host over 150 men and women paddlers from all over the world.
The cross-lake race starts at 8am from El Dorado Beach in South Lake Tahoe. Competitors will paddle 22 miles across Lake Tahoe to the finish at Mourelatos Lakeshore Resort, Tahoe Vista, North Lake Tahoe.
- 22 Miler Race – On-line registration is $80. Race day registration is $100 starts 6:45am (cash or check only) *Includes lunch, awards, and commemorative race T-Shirt
- 22 Miler SUP Relay – On-line registration $160 per team. Race day registration $200 per team.
NOTICE TO PARTICIPANTS: Each 2 person team needs to provide their own support boat.
- 3 mile Race – This race is approved for all ability levels, starting and finishing at Mourelatos Lakeshore Resort. Register at the beach the morning of Sunday, September 10, 2017 for $60. 10:15 am race start. *Includes lunch, awards, and commemorative race T-Shirt
- Kids Paddleboard Race – For kids ages 1-11, starting and finishing at Mourelatos Lakeshore Resort. Register at the beach the morning of Saturday, September 9, 2017 for $15. 11:00 am race start. *includes awards

The 2017 Tahoe Fall Classic race is open to all paddling craft, advanced recreational paddlers and elite class SUP participants. *The 22 mile race is not recommended for beginners.
*Prone paddlers have an additional incentive in the cross-lake event. The first prone paddleboard to cross the finish line in Kings Beach will win $300 cash, the second $200, and the third across will win $100.
All participants need to provide their own equipment (including a personal floatation device (PFD). Participants under 18 years of age need to have a release of liability signed by a parent or legal guardian. *Participants 18 and under need to provide their own safety boat for the 22 mile race.
